Ta-dah!

I have finally finished my entry in my book. After using so much colour in my entries, I wanted to go back to black and white penwork. I used a dip pen and Winsor & Newton India ink. I'll be sending it off to you soon Yoda!

My entry on my moleskine.

My first entry has to do with the figures I've been drawing for some time. Ilha do Ferro is a community in the interior of my home state, here in Brazil. I love these pieces that represent ex-votos ("milagros" in Spanish) and I am always adding new symbols to them. They are women figures and are so beautiful. These little statues are carved on wood and their dresses do not have these patterns. I love drawing various shapes to them. I am a kind of fashion stylist to them :)
Now I just have to send it off to Samantha.

Happy New Year Pedro and Yoda!
I'm thinking about what to do with my entry. Once I finish in Yoda's book for Moly-X 48, I'm going to get started. All this moving around has slowed me down and now that I am more or less settled, I'll be able to get back on track. I hope you both had wonderful holidays.
